In September 2013 WakeUP Wake County, the League of Women Voters of Wake County, Western Wake Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta , Youth Organizing Institute, Congregations for Social Justice, and El Pueblo hosted a series of 4 in-district community forums for each contested Wake County Board of Education seat.
