Transit Oriented Development (TOD): What is it & How does it work
October 9, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
The Capital Area Friends of Transit (CAFT) is hosting a discussion on Transit Oriented Development (TOD) on Friday, October 9th at 12pm. This is your chance to ask questions and learn more about TOD and the policies that will be implemented around our county.
They will explore how TOD fits into Wake County’s transit plan, housing affordability, and how it can shape land use in our most traveled corridors. Our panelists will highlight the successes and challenges of similar regions and explore ideas from both a planning and a real estate point of view. TOD is coming. Come learn what it means for your community.
Join our special guests:
Asa Fleming, Broker & Realtor, Allen Tate
Jason Hardin, City Planner, City of Raleigh
John J. Loughran, Senior Urban Strategist, WSP
Patrick McDonough, Senior Transit Planner, HDR
