On November 7, 2013 WakeUP Wake County, the Women’s Transportation Seminar – NC Triangle Chapter and Capital Area Friends of Transit hosted a critical summit: Transit Makes $en$e: What’s in it for Me, Business, and the Economy. Over 250 people attended. The summit, lead by national, state a local experts, kicked off a community conversation about the direct economic impact of public transportation investment.
