On Thursday May 30, 2013 WakeUP and the NC Sierra Club hosted a WakeUP After 5 conversation on Jordan Lake and the pending Senate Bill 515 that would repeal the “rules” established by the General Assembly after 12 years of negotiation to clean up the lake. Over 60 people gathered together at Donerty’s Irish Pub in Cary. Panel speakers were: Rep. Tom Murry, Sen Tamara Barringer, Holly Springs Mayor Dick Sears, Morrisville Mayor Pro Tem Liz Johnson and Peter Raabe from American Rivers.
