It’s official! On September 8th elected officials, community members and reporters packed a room at Shaw University for the kickoff of the Moving Wake County Forward campaign in support of the 1/2 cent sales tax referendum for public transportation. Four campaign co-chairs spoke at the event, touting the benefits of transit and all that it will do for Wake over the next 10 years.
