WakeUP Wake County was busy speaking UP for good growth planning at the public hearings on the FY 2015 budgets for Wake County and Raleigh City Council. Some of the topics included: funding teachers’ pay raises, increasing bus system funding, cleaning up Moore Square Station, supporting water and sewer fees and Pay-As-You-Throw options to reduce solid waste and save money.
