RaleighForward, WakeUP Wake County, & CITYBUILDER Happy Hour!

On February 5, RaleighForward, WakeUP Wake County, and CITYBUILDER gathered at Bottle Rev 3 for an energizing happy hour focused on building momentum for a stronger, more connected advocacy community in Raleigh. The evening brought together neighbors, organizers, and nonprofit leaders who share a commitment to shaping the city’s future.

Casual conversations centered on how to grow the new coalition we are building and how other nonprofits can plug into and strengthen this shared work. We continued to explore how organizations can better support one another, discussed housing abundance as a framework for expanding opportunity, and traded recommendations for the books currently shaping our thinking. A particularly meaningful theme was the connection between the pro-housing and affordable housing movements and how aligning around mutually beneficial goals can help Raleigh move forward with both urgency and care.

Most of all, the event reaffirmed that collaboration, not competition, is the key to lasting impact. We are excited to continue growing this network and turning good conversation into meaningful action.
